Every user of a software or website wants to reach their destination as quickly as possible and without obstacles. Regardless of whether the user is impaired or not - your application should be usable and user-oriented. That's why you always benefit from an accessible website or software. Even if you are not legally obliged to do so.

We design your software or website in accordance with the rules and legal requirements for accessibility. We are also happy to support you in optimizing existing applications.
This concerns the areas of design, usability, user experience, frontend/styling, backend/code review.

The most important factors

The most important factors of accessible design are user-oriented design, a context-based design process, good usability and the creation of individualization options.

To this end, we take numerous elements and aspects into account, e.g:

• Graphics, tables and symbols
• Text size and color contrasts
• Keyboard conditions
• code
• Languages
• Syntax and consistency
• Interaction with operating systems
• Customizability (e.g. zoom capability of a website, adjustment of contrasts and font sizes)

All of this is implemented visually and technically so that it works and looks good.

Legal regulations

We are familiar with the requirements of BITV 2.0 and the WCAG guidelines and can support you in implementing or reviewing them.
We are guided by the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9241-171: "Guidelines for the accessibility of software".

New development or analysis

In the case of a new development, we take the special accessibility requirements into account as early as the conception phase and then implement them accordingly in the design and implementation phase.

Of course, we also support you in analyzing existing applications or websites and then provide recommendations for action to implement the accessibility requirements.

Content consulting

The user of a website or software wants to reach their goal quickly and without any hurdles.
The content of a software or website, consisting of image, text and graphic elements, must therefore be selected, formulated and structured sensibly.
