DER HAMBURGISCHE BEAUFTRAGTE FÜR DATENSCHUTZ UND INFORMATIONSFREIHEIT
Website relaunch
The Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information is committed to the security of personal data in Hamburg. In this context, the office is the point of contact for questions regarding the processing of personal data and for data protection complaints.
We redesigned the website for the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information to create a modern and user-friendly platform. We developed an individual look and feel that reflects the atmosphere of the Hanseatic city. To complement the website, we redesigned the logo to create a clear design and improved readability. A new content concept was developed to make the website easier for users to use. Important forms are placed directly on the homepage and legal texts on specific topics are easy to find. On the "News" page, articles and messages can be sorted according to various categories to enable a clear structure of topics and a simplified search for specific content.
Content as articles
The website contains numerous articles, each of which can be tagged with up to three keywords. This makes it possible to display topic-related articles and present targeted content on specific pages. This feature offers a significant advantage to website users as they can discover content that may interest them without having to rely on traditional navigation.
Responsive website with TYPO3
The website was implemented with TYPO3. Another special feature of this project was the possibility of complex rights management and use as a multisite system. This allows the data protection authority to operate and maintain another website, www.digitale-vorbilder.eu, with the same system in addition to its main website. This website was also designed and developed by us.
